For positioning & position changes

Curera Support Wedge can be used to place a patient/user inside position in order to relieve sacrum, which is an extra sensitive area. For the side position, two support wedges are used together.

The support wedge is easy to use and clean. It is delivered with a liquid resistant cover that can be wiped off with a cleaning agent and/or disinfectants. It can also be machine washed.

Support wedges are placed differently depending on the mattress that is used, see picture to the left or user manual for more information.

Examples of different uses:
• When the user has problems to lie completely on the side.
• For relief in the prevention of pressure ulcers.
• When the user has problems with position changes.
• As kick protection against bed rails.
• For other positioning.
